BEELINGUA ACADEMY

Located in Oaxaca de Juárez valley, BeeLingua Academy first started as a virtual school during the pandemic. In March 2023 BeeLingua Academy opened its doors and started offering in-person classes to foreigners and locals.During our classes we focus on speaking, listening, writing, and reading, with a particular emphasis on developing your speaking skills in real-life scenarios.

We offer flexible hours so that our class times can work best with your schedule. BeeLingua provides access to various cultural activities that allow you to immerse yourself in the local traditions and customs. You can even take ancestral cooking classes to learn about our traditional cuisine or take a tour to know the city through the eyes of your teacher.

SPANISH AND ENGLISH TEACHER

Hola, soy Fernanda Domínguez, I was born in the Oaxaca de juarez valley, and I’m proud to still call it home. I´m the founder and CEO of the school and a trained language teacher. I love learning and experiencing different cultures and their traditions and I love meeting new people along the way!

I have been teaching Spanish to foreigners for many years here in Oaxaca, and for the past three years I have also been teaching Spanish to children aged 6 to 15 through an online Chinese school. I also work with local students to help improve their English skills. I´m here to assist you in enhancing your proficiency in either Spanish or English through a diverse range of methods, techniques, and activities.

I enjoy exploring my city with newcomers! Together we can take in the main sights, enjoy traditional dishes, learn about our rich cultural traditions and the region's unique heritage.

My name is Celeste Vásquez and I love living in such a beautiful place like Oaxaca. In my free time I like to travel, especially discovering new places around my state or México. I like learning about new cultures, cuisine, and making new friends from other countries.

I am a hardworking and honest person. One of my favourite experiences has been when I worked at a summer camp in the USA. I got to spend time with new people in a new country, while having fun and learning with different people from all over the world. I have experience teaching Spanish to native English speakers, as well as helping local children here in Oaxaca with English homework and basic conversational skills.

I look forward to helping you become confident with the Spanish language so that you can communicate comfortably with native speakers.

OAXACA COOK TEACHER

Soy Arcelia Domínguez, I was born and raised in Oaxaca de Juárez city in the heart of the Oaxacan valley. When I was growing up I learned how to cook Oaxaca´s traditional food with my mother Manuela. My mother’s knowledge about traditional Oaxacan food has been passed down from generation to generation.

I will teach you how to prepare traditional Oaxacan dishes like moles, guias, chiles rellenos, caldo de res, cegueza, higaditos, patitas en vinagre and more! These dishes are very famous during Oaxacan celebrations like bodas, cumpleaños, quinceaños, and Mayordomias.

Fernanda was the perfect addition to my time in Oaxaca, I took in-person classes with her while working remote for two months. She was patient, engaging, and perfect for someone just starting out! The highlight of our classes together was a cooking class with her aunt! I had just the best time learning spanish with Fernanda :)

My two daughters (5 and 7) just finished a two week Spanish camp/classes with Fernanda at Beelingua. They were reluctant when I first signed them up, but after the first day, they loved it! They even asked over the weekend if they were going back to see Fernanda. They danced, learned songs, made piñatas, cooked different sweets & learned/improved their Spanish. They happily walked 30 minutes every day to class & had so much to excitedly share each day when they returned. I was highly recommend Fernanda & Beelingua
