Oaxacan cuisine is vibrant and diverse, known for its rich flavors and unique ingredients. Its cuisine reflects the rich culinary traditions that have been passed down through generations. Oaxacan cuisine has gained international recognition, from the famous mole sauce to tlayudas and chapulines (grasshoppers) and more!

Our cooking class is divided by three parts. First you will visit a local market in Oaxaca to find all the necessary ingredients for the recipe. Depending on which market we visit and the distance, we will either walk or take the bus to reach the cooking place. In the second part of the class you will learn how to prepare the traditional dish of the day. In the third part of the class you will get to taste the dish along with refreshing aguas frescas and the option of enjoying mezcal or mezcalinas.
